New strategic plan released for Lung Month

November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month, Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness Month and Radon Action Month. November 12 is World Pneumonia Day and November 20 is World COPD Day. With lungs being front and center in November, it’s the perfect time to launch our 2024-27 strategic plan.

The plan reflects significant work of our board and staff, with insights from our donors and the public. It sets out our course for the next few years, reiterating our work toward championing clean air and our commitment to supporting those affected by lung disease. It also speaks to our commitment to protecting the lungs of children, ensuring a nicotine-free generation, and addressing inequities when it comes to lung health.

As we approach our 125th anniversary in 2025, we invite you to read the plan to get to know the Canadian Lung Association of today and learn more about how we will protect the lungs of all people living in Canada and improve the quality of life for those living with lung disease.
