About the RespiClick
Aeromony RespiClick is a corticosteriod (ICS) inhaler used for maintenance treatment of asthma.
Arbesda RespiClick combines an ICS with a long-acting beta-2 agonist (LABA) for maintenance treatment of asthma.
This information is meant to help you use your inhaler. If you require more information about the medication itself, please speak to your healthcare provider or pharmacist.
Using your RespiClick
- Making sure the cap is closed, hold the inhaler upright.
- Open the green cap all the way back until you feel and hear a “click”. Every time the green cap is opened and it clicks, one dose is ready to be inhaled. Do not open the green cap unless you are taking a dose.
- Hold the inhaler away from your mouth and breathe out through your mouth as much air as you can. Never breathe out into the inhaler mouthpiece.
- Place the mouthpiece in your mouth and close your lips around it to form a seal.
- Breathe in quickly and deeply through your mouth until your lungs feel full of air. Be careful not to block the vent above the mouthpiece with your lips or fingers.
- Remove the inhaler from your mouth. Hold your breath for about 10 seconds or for as long as you comfortably can.
- Close the green cap so that the inhaler will be ready for your next dose.
- Rinse your mouth with water after taking your dose. Spit out the water (don't swallow it).
To clean your Respiclick, gently wipe the mouthpiece with a dry cloth or tissue once a week. Never wash or put any part of the inhaler in water.
