Who can be nominated?
Nominated individuals will have made a significant contribution to Canada or to a particular province, territory, region of, or community in, Canada, or attained an outstanding achievement abroad that brings credit to Canada, with relation to lung health. Through their achievements and sustained contributions, nominees will have distinguished themselves from others in the same field.
We will be working with our partners and stakeholders to identify individuals who will be considered for nomination by our Selection Committee. We will endeavor that our list of nominees will be inclusive with particular attention given to individuals belonging to groups that have been historically under-represented. Nominees must not have any connections to the tobacco, nicotine or cannabis industries.
Nominations from the general public will not be accepted. All nominations must be submitted by the Canadian Lung Association via the Selection Committee.
